Reading Update #2
Today is world book day and I thought it was as good a day as any to make a reading update. When I last posted one I had read 18 books this year, as of today I have read 33, so continuing on from "Legends and Lattes": 19-20. These were two issues of a manga called "The guy she was interested in wasn't a guy at all." Dirt Freckles
I haven't posted in a while, and today I intend to compile what I've read in previous months, but I also want to post about my work when it becomes published in any litmags etc. Today two of my poems appeared in Dirt Freckles. I think the title of this publication is adorable. umKava and Tiger Dust
Aside from my work being featured at the bookshelf grand opening recently, some of my poems are now at the usual cafe where I go to play mtg with my fiance, and at the oddity shop where my book club is held! I want to share and talk about them, and I'm so thankful that these businesses think my work is good enough to be represented in their spaces. The Bookshelf grand opening
I was so honored this weekend to have some of my poetry featured at the grand opening of The Bookshelf, one of my poems was given away with every purchase, though they ran out a few hours before the end of the event, I really wish I had printed more! These were the poems which were featured: A Changeling is a Faerie child swapped with a human child at birth. The ogham (The lines at the top) spell Aisling, my “magical name” which I received in a dream and use in Pagan space
