Here is my most recent publication! A poem I wrote called "Maw" In an online litmag called Pink Ochre. I like the design of this one, and I'm happy this poem found a home. I enjoy writing very visceral and somewhat disgusting things like this. I'm not sure when the next two will be out as they have yet to post release dates, one will release in October however.

Today is world book day and I thought it was as good a day as any to make a reading update. When I last posted one I had read 18 books this year, as of today I have read 33, so continuing on from "Legends and Lattes": 19-20. I haven't posted in a while, and today I intend to compile what I've read in previous months, but I also want to post about my work when it becomes published in any litmags etc. Today two of my poems appeared in Dirt Freckles. I think the title of this publication is adorable. Aside from my work being featured at the bookshelf grand opening recently, some of my poems are now at the usual cafe where I go to play mtg with my fiance, and at the oddity shop where my book club is held! I want to share and talk about them, and I'm so thankful that these businesses think my work is good enough to be represented in their spaces. I was so honored this weekend to have some of my poetry featured at the grand opening of The Bookshelf, one of my poems was given away with every purchase, though they ran out a few hours before the end of the event, I really wish I had printed more! I spent the other day at one of my favorite art galleries and gardens. There is also obviously much to do with the history of the circus here, but I am less interested in that. I had creme brulee for the first time in a while, it's one of my favorites. A little early for roses I think but some of them were out, and they were beautiful. Recently I visited NYC with my grandmother. It was my second time coming here, and while I generally do not like large cities, it was full of memories I will cherish with her forever. I hope to visit again perhaps next year with someone else. There are many things to do. Despite the grime, there is a lot of beauty and magic to be discovered.
